Using a tape measure, measure around the head, starting just above the forehead and continuing around the widest part of the back of the head.

Your helmet should fit your head snugly without being uncomfortable.
It should sit well on the crown and you should feel the contact with even pressure around your head.

How long do I have to wait to request a change?
Maximum within 30 days.
When should I replace my helmet?
Snell recommends replacing your helmet every 5 years. Your helmet should be inspected by a professional after any impact.
Remember, you only have one head and racing is a dangerous sport.
If you have any doubts about the performance and integrity of your helmet, get a new one.
